I

(Excerpted from the website http://www.highlandtheatre.com)

"The Highland Theater, nestled in a quaint, eclectic neighborhood in Akron, Ohio, began its life in 1936. Over the years, the Highland's stage and screen have featured premier movies and a diverse assortment of acts including Arlo Guthrie, Lucinda Williams, John Entwistle, David Sanborn, Chris Cagle, Mushroomhead, Echo & The Bunnymen, and Vonda Shepard.

In 2000, Terence F. Deane, president of The Trillium Group, launched a series of renovations which have brought the Highland Theater back to its Art Deco origins. Mr. Deane's history as a contemporary rock agent for ICM in the 60s and 70s, and his later success as a film producer, has fed his desire to bring the Highland back to its original glory as both a film and concert venue.

The theater now boasts an expanded stage and greatly enhanced sound and lighting system. Private dressing rooms are now a reality. (The Crash Daddies will take full advantage of this, believe me)

The China White Lounge, a 110' long curved bar located in the rear of the theater, provides a clear view of both the stage and screen. The dramatic bar, along with the nearby more intimate seating areas, offers a truly unique way to enjoy the show. The theatre seats 1,100.

The Highland services a combined student population of 60,000 from the University of Akron and Kent State University. It also draws people of all ages into its auditorium because the theater is easily accessible to surrounding communities without the hassles of going "downtown". It is a short drive from any point in Akron, and 45 minutes from Cleveland."

Crash Daddies 'ON THE LAM AGAIN' Tour continues...

JUNE 15, 2002 - RIDDLES, POMPTON LAKES, NJ

Saturday, June 15, 2002 - Over 200 of the hometown faithful packed the upstairs at Riddles for 90 minutes of Crash Daddies mayhem and original music! Smashing the old attendance record FOR ANY GENRE OF MUSIC at Riddles (formerly know as The Firehouse Pub, for you who were prowling around in the 80's), the place was 'don't bother knockin', the house is a rockin'.

True to form, the Crash Daddies blew most of the profits on bringing in a pro lighting company and a pro sound company... it cost $$$, but everyone appreciated it; the stage looked great, the sound was killer and the show was a bigtime hit with the locals. And we gotta live CD from that night to prove it!!!

Don't miss the next show @ Riddles October 12, '02!
